1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using Studd at getstudd.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Studd. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vibrant Visions Group ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Studd is a quoting, invoicing, and payment platform for home service professionals. It allows contractors to create and send professional quotes, collect deposits, manage clients, and receive payments through Stripe Connect.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use Studd. By using Studd, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account Registration

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information when creating your account
  • Maintaining the security of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use at legal@getstudd.com

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

Free (Starter) plan: Limited to 3 quotes. No credit card required.

Standard plan: $29/month. Unlimited quotes, invoices, and core features.

AI Core plan: $59/month. Everything in Standard plus AI Assistant, SMS access, and voice input.

Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

6. Payment Processing

Payments from your clients are processed through Stripe Connect. By connecting your Stripe account, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service (stripe.com/legal). We do not charge a platform fee on client payments — Stripe's standard processing fees apply.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Studd for any illegal purpose
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications to clients
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the platform
  • Use Studd to infringe on third-party intellectual property
  • Impersonate another person or business
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the platform

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Studd (quotes, client data, business information). By using Studd, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you upload or send through Studd does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

9. Client Data

You are responsible for your clients' data that you enter into Studd. You represent that you have the right to share client information with us for the purpose of delivering quotes and invoices. We handle client data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

Studd and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Vibrant Visions Group and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of Studd without our written permission.

11. Disclaimers

Studd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for the outcome of any quote, contract, or business transaction conducted through the platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vibrant Visions Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Studd. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vibrant Visions Group from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of Studd, your content, or your violation of these terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time through the settings page. Upon termination, your right to use Studd ceases immediately.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Illinois.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of Studd after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
